Until now, safety devices have been thought to improve safety sufficiently, but not necessarily in proportion to productivity. The RBS3 model is equipped with a light-beam press start system, allowing press work to be performed without operating a push button switch. Productivity is dramatically improved because the slide starts simply by placing material in the mold and returning your hand to the safety area. If the light beam is detected as it is descending, the slide immediately stops, ensuring the safety of the operator. This is a light-beam safety device with a new PSDI control function that complies with the structural standards revised in 2013.

- The misoperation control function protects worker safety.
By using two light sensors together, the slide will not activate if a hand or arm enters or exits outside the range of the B light axis sensor or from the wrong direction. When entering, the slide will only activate if light is blocked in the order A light axis → B light axis, preventing misoperation.
*If an existing safety device is installed, that light sensor can be used as the B light axis sensor. - Dual CPU mutual monitoring for advanced safety
prevents unexpected start-up due to component failure. - Two-handed push button operation is also possible.
The selector switch allows for use in the same way as conventional safety devices. - Safety design prevents press operation unless light is blocked for at least 0.3 seconds
. Prevents press operation errors due to foreign objects flying in. - Prevents malfunctions and blank strikes
. Photoelectric sensors confirm the material position, preventing mold damage. (*Optional specifications.) - Supports pendulum motion.
